2 women in a world between sea and sky. Floating, waiting. the objects and beings of BLUE roam freely on stage, negotiating with one another, blurring the frontiers of reality.

BLUE - Turning Tide is an attempt to express the broadness of the blue color, always in movement, never settling, in an ocean at times calm and at times tempestuous. BLUE thus sets the scene for a psychological negotiation "beneath the surface," a relationship undergoing many varied attempts to find balance, a breathable space, and reconciliation. This performance can be seen as an immersion into a psyche wrestling with conflict, trauma, or the unknown—a journey between two beings seeking balance on turbulent waters, a quest for healing, in a single breath.

Intangible, it saturates the dreams one weaves there. It resonates in the dreamlike, mesmerizing soundscape: droplets echoing in a cavern, deep synthesizers, torrential rains. It moves in the soft, bouncing motion of five blue Pilates balls—the dancers' main instruments of play. It ripples through a field of small, planet-like balls, it seeps into the flowing blue costumes and the subtle lighting that reveals its shifting facets.

BLUE – Turning Tide is an image of a chasm and the journey of a slow ascent to the surface. Its movements evolve through various personas and animalistic qualities, exploring different modes of existence—as though swept by warm and cold currents, contrasting calm with bursts of energy to navigate these dimensions.

All that shifts

with the tide.
